Funds raised assist women in transitioning out of dangerous environments, helping them establish a safe haven replete with essential household items. Moreover, these funds support tailored workshops that serve a pivotal role in their healing process. These workshops, specially curated to the unique needs and challenges faced by these brave women, aim to rejuvenate their spirit, boost their confidence, and equip them with skills to not just survive, but to thrive.
Our team at Presence Real Estate fully embraced this mission. Chasse Ede, Nathan Hunter, Nathan Walsh, and the young spirited Hugo (Chasse’s son) embarked on a memorable walk around the foreshore, absorbing the event’s spirit and essence. Meanwhile, Nicole Kelly and her partner Reg felt the ground under their feet and the wind against their faces as they completed a 10km run in the scenic expanse of Glenrock.
Chasse Ede captured the essence of the day perfectly: “Such a beautiful morning and an amazing turn out. We love being a part of this important cause supporting women & children locally.” It’s indeed heartening to note that our team’s efforts, combined with the kindness of our supporters, have helped us raise a significant amount. We’ve reached $4605 so far, and we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re pushing forward with our goal of hitting $5000, and with over a week left to donate, we’re optimistic about reaching, if not surpassing, our target.
The enthusiasm and dedication of the community to this cause were evident, with a whopping 1,100 participants registering for this year’s event. It’s a testament to the collective will of the community, standing united against domestic violence.
